This position plays a key role in the vitality of our business by ensuring all customers receive exactly what they ordered as well as ensuring the accuracy of our inventory and product quality control.
The right person for this role will possess a keen eye for detail and a hunger for accuracy in everything that they do.
We are looking for a self-motived and hard-working individual who can work independently in our small warehouse and successfully multi-task.
This position will work with our order processing team to ensure all shipping and receiving is completed on time and according to customer protocol.
They will also manage all aspects of the warehouse from inventory control, managing returns, product testing, and quality control.
As a small company, all our team members wear a lot of hats, and we are looking for a new team member who can dive in with us and help grow our business! Shipping, warehouse and inventory management Picking and packing all outbound shipments Manage physical inventory in warehouse Keep warehouse clean and organized Manage existing ship logs Perform basic and accurate data entry.
Use basic shipping software to help team process shipping labels Perform quality control by testing inventory, customer returns, repair as necessary.
Comfortable with basic hand tools.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized, efficient, and orderly warehouse and work area.
The following skills are REQUIRED:
Excellent organizational skills are a MUST with this position.
Methodic attention to detail and accuracy.
We need someone who is focused and a perfectionist when it comes to shipping accuracy, product quality assurance, and inventory maintenance.
Basic computer skills:
This positions will use basic Microsoft Office software as well as shipping software (FEDEX, UPS, Ship Rush).
We will train, but basic computer literacy is preferred Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbal.
Good grammar, spelling and speech.
Ability to work safely with all warehouse related tools and equipment including but not limited to; pallet jack, warehouse stairs, ladders, racking, and other various tools and equipment.
No prior experience necessary, but a level of comfort and competence to ensure safety.
Ability to follow specific shipping guidelines and customer mandated rules; prep packages and pallets accordingly.
Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs occasionally and 20lbs multiple times throughout a week without assistance.
Basic technical aptitude with hand tools for basic product quality control.
Fundamental math skills.
Friendly, helpful and positive attitude.
This position is an interesting mix of duties which keeps the daily tasks from becoming mundane.
